Quitting with Unpuffed
What can I quit with it?
Vapes, nicotine pouches and cigarettes, alone or together. You tell Unpuffed roughly how much you use and what it costs, and it works out your money kept from there.
Should I stop all at once or cut down?
Either. Choose a quit date, or taper down over time. If you're not sure, talk to a doctor or pharmacist; nicotine replacement and other medicines can make either approach easier.
What happens when I slip?
Your streak starts again from the slip. Your total nicotine-free days, money kept and longest streak don't change. Unpuffed asks what was going on and how you felt, only if you want to say, and then you keep going.
How does Craving SOS work?
It's a three-minute breathing guide. Cravings rise and fall like a wave, and slow breathing helps you ride one out. You can tag what you were feeling or doing, which feeds your Insights if you have Plus.
Where does the health timeline come from?
Each milestone cites a public health source, such as the National Cancer Institute, Smokefree.gov or the CDC. It's general education, not medical advice, and everyone's quit is different.
Is Unpuffed a medical app?
No. It's a self-help tool for tracking your quit and getting through cravings. It doesn't diagnose or treat anything.
Privacy
Do I need an account?
No. There's nothing to sign up for, and we never ask for your name, email or phone number.
Can you see what I log?
No. Your plan, slips, cravings and notes are encrypted and stored only on your phone. We don't run a server that receives them.
What if I get a new phone?
Restore your new iPhone from a backup of the old one. The encryption key travels in your iCloud Keychain, so your history comes with you.
How do I delete everything?
In the app, go to You, then Delete all data. It erases your history and destroys the key, so even old backups can't be read.
Do share cards say what I quit?
Never. They show your days or money kept, and nothing about the product.
Pricing
Is Unpuffed free?
Yes. Tracking, Craving SOS, never-reset totals, the first 90 days of the health timeline and the streak widgets are all free. Plus is an optional upgrade.
How much is Plus?
$29.99 a year (with a one-month free trial), $4.99 a month, or $59.99 once for life. See Pricing for what's included.
Why is there no weekly plan?
Weekly plans cost far more over a year, and quitting is stressful enough. We'd rather charge a fair price once a year.
Getting the app
When can I download it?
Unpuffed is coming to iPhone soon. The App Store link will appear on this site the day it's live.
Is it on Android?
Not yet. Unpuffed is launching on iPhone first.
How old do I need to be?
